Open to painters, sculptors, or printmakers worldwide. Applicants must have been working in a "mature phase" of their art for a minimum of twenty years, demonstrating a high level of intellectual, technical, and creative proficiency maintained over time, with visual documentation explicitly beginning in 2006 or earlier. Applicants must also demonstrate current financial need through comprehensive financial disclosures, including complete federal tax returns for all household members. Students and craft artists are ineligible.
