An eight-day recording residency for two trans artists or bands, one in each of Figure 8 Recording's two Brooklyn studios, run by the non-profit Trans Music Archive. Eight days in a Figure 8 Recording studio (Neve 5316 or SSL AWS 900 room) with in-house engineers; a $1,500 stipend per selected artist or band; full ownership of masters and publishing. Award details: Eight days of studio time with in-house engineers plus a $1,500 stipend per artist or band.
Voraussetzungen
Artists who self-identify as trans, or bands with a majority of trans members or principal writers. The project must be active and have released music before. Applicants must be local to the New York City area or able to travel there for the programme; bands and live acts are preferred.
