XIII DanzaXtrema Choreography Competition 2026, Extremadura

The 13th edition of the DanzaXtrema competition supports contemporary choreographic creation of all styles; finalists perform at the final in Extremadura, judged by national and international performing-arts professionals on originality, risk, execution and command of choreographic language.

Beneficios

€5,000 first prize; €1,200 for every other work in the final; audience award of €300 (and an Extremaduran ham). Award details: First prize €5,000; €1,200 for each other finalist; audience award €300.

Elegibilidad

Choreographers of any nationality, any dance discipline or technique. Works of 10–15 minutes for up to four performers; live music allowed with up to two musicians on easily movable instruments.
