The 4th Soka Matsubara National Painting Exhibition — a Japanese painting competition themed on the scenic Soka Matsubara pine grove, with a ¥300,000 grand prize at the Acos Gallery.
Beneficios
Grand Prize ¥300,000, three Excellence Prizes of ¥50,000 and five Honourable Mentions of ¥20,000, each with a certificate; selected works are shown at the Acos Gallery, Soka, from 25 November to 4 December 2026. The grand-prize work becomes the property of Soka City.
Elegibilidad
Anyone living in Japan, any nationality, aged 15 or older on 1 April 2026 (junior-high students excluded). Up to two flat works, each no larger than F10 (53.0 × 45.5 cm) and no thicker than 10 cm with frame; no glass (acrylic allowed); works using photography or calligraphy are not accepted.
