Bunnell Street Arts Center in Homer, Alaska, runs an artist-in-residence programme with Alaska, national and international artists; its juried Alaska AIR call opens in alternate years and favours themes such as accessibility, inclusion, sustainability, stewardship and community well-being.

Residencies of generally one month in the fall, winter and spring of 2027 and 2028 with $2,000, travel, lodging and studio/gallery space; one to four fully funded residencies a year, more if funding allows. International, US and Alaska artists in mediums including visual, literary and performing arts, social and civic practice, ephemeral art, moving image, movement and dance, and music composition and performance, who will create new work and engage the Homer community.
