Dear Fear — Visual Art for an Anthology of Eating-Disorder Recovery Letters (Publication 2027)

Literary and visual anthology built on one constrained form — a letter to a feared food and how it no longer haunts the writer — offering hope and companionship to people in eating-disorder recovery; artists' images appear alongside the texts.

Avantages

Selected images accompany poems, essays and letters in Dear Fear, a collection of messages from people in eating-disorder recovery, expected to be published in February 2027 by the nonprofit publisher Sheila-Na-Gig. Submission and feedback fees go to paying contributors.

Éligibilité

Writers and artists at all stages of their careers, anywhere. Visual artists working in 2D — photography, painting, drawing, printmaking, digital/new media and mixed media — may submit up to five images on eating-disorder recovery, fear foods, compassion, community or bodily autonomy; food need not… Lire la suite
