Three categories in all disciplines including fine crafts, music, literary, visual, media and performing arts: Create — up to CA$15,000 to develop or create new work alone or with one other Nova Scotia artist; Present — up to CA$5,000 for public presentation of your own work; Professional Development — up to CA$5,000 for artists, curators and independent arts administrators. Eligible costs: a contribution to living expenses up to CA$2,000 per month during the project, materials, mentors and consultants, production personnel, travel, royalties, promotion (Present), venue and equipment rental. Access Support supplements are available.

Professional artists (Status of the Artist Act criteria: peer recognition, public presentation, appropriate training incl. self-taught, income from art, serious intent), individually or as a duo; Canadian citizens or landed immigrants who have been residents of Nova Scotia for at least 12 months before the deadline (temporary absence under 12 months allowed). Creative-industries work (commercial film, music videos, recording, publishing, commercial design) is not eligible.
