A five-day residential program at Schloss Leopoldskron in Salzburg (14–19 March 2027), co-designed with participants in two online meetings, opening Salzburg Global's four-year Cultural Futures Forum on AI, precarity and the future of creative work. Participants become Salzburg Global Fellows and join an international network, online convenings and the annual Cultural Futures Outlook publication. Scholarships from the Edward T. Cone Foundation cover participation and travel for a limited number of selected applicants; partial scholarships cover only one of the two.

Open internationally to people working in or around the cultural and creative sector: makers (artists, designers, architects, filmmakers, musicians, writers, curators, creative entrepreneurs), cultural institutions, funders and creative businesses, policymakers and researchers. Selection looks at the relevance of the applicant's work, what they would bring to peer learning and their capacity to apply the ideas afterwards; the cohort is curated to be international, interdisciplinary and intergenerational. Scholarships prioritise applicants from the Majority World (Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean and parts of the Middle East) and people historically underrepresented in the arts. Applicants may use AI tools for accessibility and translation but should keep their own voice.
