Run with Studio Silo, the residency puts a month of focused time inside a working music building: pianos, keyboards, guitars, drum kits, amplifiers and backline on site, recording and rehearsal setups for everything from composition to pre-production, and the concert hall available throughout for rehearsals, test gigs, re-amping or recording with natural acoustics. Residents also get limited free access to Studio Silo's Live Room, arranged in advance with the studio engineer; the full studio with engineer can be booked separately. Accommodation is a private bedroom with shared kitchen and lounge, alongside the visual artists in residence.

Solo musicians, producers, duos and small bands in any genre, working independently or in small collaborative formats. Suited to artists comfortable with DIY recording — there is no separate control room. Residency length matches the centre's standard periods and consecutive months are possible.
