Danish Arts Foundation Working Grants for Film and Digital Games 2027 — One- to Three-Year Grants for Creators
Danish Arts Foundation
The Danish Arts Foundation's working grants give film-makers and game creators paid time to develop their own artistic practice, rather than funding a specific production. The Committee for Film supports all genres of film and digital games and welcomes stories with social relevance that can surprise; XR and game applicants may send playable demos.
publicSeo.openCall.benefits
A working grant for time to develop one's artistic work, in an amount set by the Danish Arts Foundation's Committee for Film, which may award a three-year working grant. The committee is open to all genres in film and games and looks for vision, sincerity and willingness to take risks.
publicSeo.openCall.eligibility
Creative artists in film and digital games who already have a body of work behind them. Film, XR and game applicants can submit links to earlier work and to a work in progress, including playable demos and prototypes. The grant is for developing the artist's own creative work only — the committee does not fund the production of films or games (that is the Danish Film Institute's role), salaries in productions, or book projects about film and games. Applications through the Tilskudsportalen (MitID or CPR/CVR login); foreign applicants without MitID can be paid to a foreign account. The committee decides the amount, including whether to award a three-year working grant; answers within 12 weeks of the deadline.
