Gjon Mili International Video Art Festival
The Gjon Mili International Video Art Festival — the only festival of its kind in Albania, with programmes in Dhërmi, Korçë and New York — runs a residency for moving-image artists. The 2027 edition invites projects in dialogue with landscape, memory, architecture and projection-based media, set among the sea landscapes, abandoned architecture and open-air sites of the Albanian Riviera.

A one-month residency in Dhërmi on the Albanian Riviera with an artist fee, daily per diem / meals support, accommodation for the full stay, travel support (a transportation contribution), access to residency talks and workshops, and time and space for research and production. Works developed during the residency are presented at the Gjon Mili International Video Art Festival in Dhërmi in June 2027 through screenings, projections, exhibitions or site-specific presentations. The amount of the artist fee is not published.

Open to international artists of all nationalities, emerging and established, working in video art, experimental film, short film, documentary, immersive media, VR / digital art, sound and moving image, projection-based and interdisciplinary experimental practices. Artists must be available for the residency (1–30 May 2027) and the festival dates.
