A CA$3,000 grant from the Professional Development component of artsnb’s Career Development program, helping professional artists pursue studies, workshops, training or mentorships in the arts. Sister components with the same deadlines support presenting work by invitation at established arts events (Arts by Invitation) and producing promotional tools for the artist’s career (Professionalization and Promotion). One application per component per deadline; one grant per component per fiscal year.

Professional artists (artsnb definition) who are Canadian citizens, affiliated with a First Nation on Turtle Island, permanent residents of Canada or have a permanent residence application in process, and who have resided in New Brunswick for at least one year (12 months) before the deadline; all overdue final reports must be submitted. Artists who do not yet meet the professional criteria should apply to the Arts Scholarships program instead.
