Illustration show honouring the club's origins: the Salmagundi Club began in 1871 as a meeting of illustrators, with members such as Howard Pyle, N.C. Wyeth and Norman Rockwell. Artists illustrate one scene of the Village through the years — bustles to minidresses, carriages to cars, protests and parades.

Illustration exhibition in the Moran Gallery of the Salmagundi Club, 8–31 December 2026, reception 15 December — following last year's 'Illustration: Then & Now'. Works are sold through the club's online catalogue, 70% to the artist.

Open to all artists, in any medium of illustration; one work, no larger than 18 inches including the frame; sculpture is not eligible. The image should illustrate a single scene of Greenwich Village life and events. Accepted work must be professionally framed and wired (plexiglass recommended), delivered 27–29 November or shipped in a reusable box with a prepaid return label. The club takes 30% of sales. Only work never shown at the Salmagundi Club.
