A grant of up to £7,500 for international collaboration and partnership development, international presentation of work, or participation in international networks and events, and up to £5,000 for an international residency (up to £7,500 for residencies outside Europe where travel and living costs are higher, with prior approval from Wales Arts International). The fund covers up to 90% of the eligible project costs, personal access costs can be added, and about 45 to 50 awards are made a year. Applications are made online through the Arts Council of Wales portal.

Arts organisations and individual creative professionals based in Wales, working in the art forms the Arts Council supports (for individuals, visual or applied artists, curators, theatre, dance, music, circus and multidisciplinary practitioners; not commercial professionals, filmmakers or literary writers, who go to Ffilm Cymru and Literature Wales). The activity must take place in person outside Wales and the UK, involve at least one international partner, be time-limited, and start at least ten working weeks after the application. At most one residency application in any 12-month period. Not fundable: activity already taking place, training and study, and organisers of the network, residency or event being attended.
