A project pool of the Danish Arts Foundation's committee for visual arts for production, exhibition and mediation of contemporary art.
publicSeo.openCall.benefits
A project grant for production of new artworks, an exhibition or mediation of contemporary art. The pool supports production fees (artists only, for time spent making the work) and exhibition fees (artist or venue, for work beyond the production such as meetings, installation and promotion), and the committee urges venues to pay exhibition fees. The committee may award less than requested. Answers within 12 weeks of the deadline.
publicSeo.openCall.eligibility
Anyone planning to produce a visual artwork to be shown in Denmark or abroad, or to exhibit or mediate the work of living visual artists in Denmark or abroad. Artists may apply for their own production if they have an agreement or permission to exhibit. Danish exhibition venues may apply for exhibitions with Danish and foreign artists, and anyone may apply for printed or digital mediation tied to an exhibition or a publisher's agreement. Not funded: exhibitions opened before the deadline, gallery exhibitions beyond the production of new works (unless a special effort), permanent works in public space (open for more than 12 months; other pools), studio rent, per diems, openings and catering, assistants' travel as a rule, re-applications of projects already considered, and costs from earlier calendar years.
