The Premio Reina Sofía is the annual painting and sculpture prize of the Asociación Española de Pintores y Escultores, judged by a panel of at least five professionals on the quality of the work alone.

Selected works and the winning work are exhibited at Casa de Vacas, Parque del Buen Retiro, Madrid, 4–28 March 2027. A single prize of €10,000 and the AEPE commemorative medal goes to one work, painting or sculpture.

Open to any artist except those awarded in previous editions. Up to five works per section (painting and sculpture), free theme and technique. Paintings 81–200 cm; sculptures under 100 kg and movable without machinery.
