The National Arts Council (NAC) is Singapore’s statutory board for the arts; its grants are applied for through the OurSG Grants portal in three general cycles a year, and priority goes to self-employed arts practitioners.

Support for continuous professional development of up to 12 consecutive months: workshops, master classes, seminars and conferences, accredited professional programmes, residencies, competitions with a development component, structured mentorships, and on-the-job training such as work attachments, internships and apprenticeships. Individuals receive up to 70% of supportable expenses (up to 90% for self-employed persons), capped at S$20,000 per financial year.

Individuals who are Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents, preferably residing in Singapore and actively contributing to the local arts scene (priority to self-employed persons); also organisations and collectives. A CV of key parties is mandatory from 15 August 2026.
