
Institut pour la photographie Grant 2027 — Four €15,000 Research and Creation Grants on “The City and Its Stories”
The Institut pour la photographie in Lille runs a yearly research and creation programme that funds photographers, artists, researchers and curators working on a common theme. The 9th edition looks at the city as a photographic subject, through fiction, literature, cinema, study, chronicle and investigation.

Four annual grants of €15,000 each, with scientific and administrative support, and a programme of three presentations, talks or workshops through the year organised by the Institut and its partners in Hauts-de-France or beyond.

University and independent researchers, exhibition curators, art critics, photographers and artists who are available throughout the programme year. Applicants must reside in France or a neighbouring country, as the programme involves frequent travel within France. Projects (publications, exhibitions, the creation of artworks) must address the 2027 theme, The City and Its Stories. One application per person; applications in French or English. Particular attention to projects linked to the Hauts-de-France region or to the Institut's collections.
