The Polish Minister of Culture's Gaude Polonia programme, run by the National Centre for Culture since 2003, brings young artists, translators and critics from Ukraine, Belarus and other Central-Eastern European and post-Soviet countries to Poland for a six-month mentored stipend.

Artists and creators aged up to 40 (in exceptional cases up to 45) holding citizenship of Belarus, Ukraine or another Central-Eastern European or post-Soviet state (Belarus and Ukraine first). Fields: film (incl. film history and criticism), visual arts (incl. photography and art criticism), heritage care (incl. conservation and museology), literature (incl. translation), music (incl. music criticism), theatre (incl. theatre criticism) and dance. The application describes the concept of the stipend project and must include at least two recommendations from recognised practitioners in the field, plus a pendrive with music recordings or a portfolio.
