
CreArt 3.0 Artist Residency in Lublin — The Globe 2026
The City of Lublin and Warsztaty Kultury, inside CreArt 3.0, are selecting two individual artists for a 17-day residency from 12 to 28 November 2026. A grant of EUR 800 gross for each selected artist. A fixed exchange rate of PLN 4.3355 applies. Payment is within 21 days after the residency. For artists from abroad, the payment is reduced by a 20% income tax deduction. Material and production costs are up to EUR 460 gross per artist. For an artist from a CreArt city, the organizer covers flight tickets to Warsaw or Lublin and accommodation and two meals a day. Travel from Warsaw to Lublin is the artist's responsibility. If an artist from Ukraine is selected, travel costs are included in the contract. A curator and a coordinator support the work. The two artists make one joint artwork from an existing 1.5-metre globe, shown in public in Lublin on 27 November 2026. The call page does not state an application fee.

The open call is open to artists born or residing in one of the cities in the project network: Kaunas (Lithuania), Liepaja (Latvia), Skopje (North Macedonia), Aveiro (Portugal), Valladolid (Spain), Lublin (Poland), Venice (Italy), Clermont-Ferrand and Rouen (France), Regensburg (Germany), České Budějovice (Czech Republic) and Oulu (Finland). It is also open to artists-members of HDLU (Croatian Association of Visual Artists), and to Ukrainian artists through the collaboration with public organization Lviv Artistic Council «Dialogue». There are no age limits. Applicants must hold a university degree in the arts or possess a documented artistic track record demonstrating equivalent qualifications. Applications are accepted from individual artists only; applications submitted by artist groups or collectives will not be considered. One selected artist is from Lublin and one is from a partner city. Applicants must hold a valid European Health Insurance Card or an equivalent document.
