For the winner: a €6,000 commission for a new work premiered at a future Gaudeamus Festival. For all nominees: performance of their main entry, a new festival commission, coaching by the jury during the Gaudeamus Academy, free accommodation and festival participation, reimbursed travel to Utrecht, and continued career support.

Composers and creators of any nationality or background born after 12 September 1991. Works may have been performed but must be no more than four years old.
