An open public-art competition on the theme “Freiräume” (free spaces) with no fixed formal, thematic or site constraints: up to five temporary art interventions in Munich’s public space during 2027, each with a budget of up to €15,000 gross covering planning, realisation, supervision, communication, side events, artist fees and insurance. All disciplines and media are possible; projects must be free to attend, follow Public Art München’s sustainability roadmap and include a discrimination-sensitive outreach strategy. Artists handle organisation and permits.
