The Learn – Residencies program of the Manitoba Arts Council supports creation or research-based residencies in Riding Mountain National Park: artistic, cultural or cross-sectoral exchange, creative research, creation and development of new work, and skill development. The residency is offered in partnership by the Manitoba Arts Council, Wasagaming Community Arts and Riding Mountain National Park.

A grant of $2,500 and a two-week residency, June through September, in the historic Deep Bay log cabin, built in 1934, on the shoreline of Clear Lake — a one-bedroom, fully-furnished cabin about two kilometres from the town of Wasagaming — with opportunities to share work with residents and visitors of the Riding Mountain area.

Professional artists, arts/cultural professionals and Indigenous Knowledge Keepers in all disciplines. Applicants must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada, a resident of Manitoba for at least one year and 18 years of age or older.
