Cork City Council’s Arts Office runs annual arts funding schemes for artists and organisations in the city, assessed by an independent peer panel with one elected council member, in line with its Arts and Cultural Strategy.

Up to €5,000 for the professional development of an individual practising artist: further education or training, development opportunities in other countries, professional mentoring, or a significant shift in the direction of the work. Fees for a curator, producer, mentor or other service providers may be included; access costs can be requested separately.

Practising artists resident within Cork City Council’s administrative area (collectives of two or more artists may apply with one named Lead Artist); activities must be artistic, not-for-profit and take place in 2027.
