Book publication and a $2,000 prize, twenty author copies, close work with the editor on editing, design and promotion, support from the Perugia Poet Liaison, review and contest copies sent by the press, launch events with a partial travel stipend and reading honorariums, and ongoing publicity.

Poets who are women, inclusive of gender-expansive identities, with no more than one previously published full-length book (chapbooks, books in other genres and non-English collections do not count). Poets must live in the US (US-based poets temporarily abroad are fine). Manuscripts of about 45–85 pages, unpublished as a whole; hybrid work welcome; no translations or self-published books; not AI-generated. Anonymous reading.
