Tax-exempt grant for travel and living expenses of international exchanges and trips abroad — exhibitions, residencies, work stays, workshops, research or meeting collaborators — or for inviting foreign artists to Sweden. No fixed maximum; grants under SEK 5,000 are not awarded. Paid within six weeks of the decision; decision for this round in February 2027.

You must be a professional artist in the field of visual arts or design, e.g. visual arts, photography, design, crafts, illustration, textile art or architecture. You must be a resident in Sweden or practice most of your art here. Foreign citizens may apply if resident in Sweden or primarily practising here. You must not be a student for more than 50 per cent of your time when an award decision is made. Institutions and other organisers are not eligible.
