A six-month residency with a fee of €18,000 paid directly by the Arts Council in two instalments (the Arts Council contributes €13,000, the university €5,000), space and technical facilities for digital art at DMARC, and administrative support. The artist contributes up to four hours a week to student engagement, workshops or public events; no core teaching.

Mid-career and established digital artists who are resident in the Republic of Ireland, with a digital arts track record (data art, software and artificial intelligence, video and artists' moving image, web, VR and AR and similar), who have not received Arts Council or other public funding for the activities they propose to develop in the residency.
