Up to eight sculptures are shown for a year (January 2027 – January 2028) in Carmichael Park behind City Hall; each artist receives a $1,000 honorarium on installation, one piece gets the $1,000 "Brighton's Choice" award and may enter the permanent collection, and works may be purchased by the public or the City.

Artists transport and install their own work with their own tools and equipment; sculptures must withstand the outdoors and be available from mid-January 2027 to mid-January 2028. Pieces made from wood, plastics, bioplastics, or mosaics cannot be accepted. Up to five applications, one piece each.
