Funding for artistic dance production including showings — salaries and fees for participants in development and performance periods, production costs (logistics, rent, technology, materials), administration, and producers' fees for touring and further presentation. Multi-year project grants of up to four years are possible for multi-part works or several independent productions.

Professional performing artists and producers in dance in the independent field, including companies and other units; the production must be shown publicly. Non-professional participants must be justified artistically. Arts Council Norway does not give full financing: the budget must include other sources of income besides the amount requested.
