January 15, 2027 (106 publicSeo.openCall.daysLeft)Germany (Stiftung Kunstfonds, Bonn)

Stiftung Kunstfonds, the federal fund for contemporary visual art in Bonn, supports artists who want to publish their own work — an artist's book, catalogue or digital publication — with a grant of up to €24,000. The 2027 call opened on 1 October 2026; decisions are made by the foundation's 16-member board of trustees on artistic quality.

publicSeo.openCall.benefits

A non-repayable project grant of up to €24,000 for an analogue or digital individual publication of the artist's own work — design, image editing, printing and fees are eligible costs. Projects may start from 1 April 2027 and must be completed by 31 March 2029. A 16-member jury (the foundation's board of trustees) decides by vote on artistic quality. Funded by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media (BKM).

publicSeo.openCall.eligibility

Individual visual artists of any age, or artist duos, whose main residence is in Germany and who are not enrolled as students during the project period. Each artist or duo applies for their own work only and may submit one application. Applicants who applied to KUNSTFONDS_Stipendium, KUNSTFONDS_Publikation or KUNSTFONDS_Werkverzeichnung for the 2026 funding year, or received Kunstfonds funding for 2026, are excluded; the three programmes can be applied for only every two years. The publication must (also) appear in German, and the application is made in German.
