Professional German-language authors of demonstrably outstanding literary level (poets, radio-play authors, prose writers, children's and young people's authors, playwrights) with German citizenship or a first residence in Germany. A new application is possible only after a year, and a rejected project only after thorough revision; several projects at once are not allowed.
