A commission for a large-scale original mural on the north-west facing façade of the Ontario Street Parking Garage (about 170 ft wide × 44 ft high, 7,480 sq ft, with circular ventilation openings to work around), reflecting the evolving story of St. Catharines — past, present and future — for the city's 150th anniversary. Total project budget CA$50,000 including HST, covering artist and assistant fees, materials and anti-graffiti coatings. Up to five shortlisted artists or teams receive CA$1,500 plus HST each to develop a concept in Stage 2; artwork may cover all or part of the wall.
