A commission for a major site-specific outdoor sculpture on the north side of The Well, Hilliard's new 110,000 sq ft recreation and wellness centre, with a $150,000 all-inclusive budget (fees, fabrication, engineering, installation, insurance). Three or four finalists are invited to a paid-design RFP stage (proposals due 22 January 2027); installation complete by spring 2028. Theme: water, local waterways and watersheds, soft rounded contours, natural colours and materials.

Visual, craft or design artists or artist teams (including landscape architects and interior designers) based in the United States, at least 18 years old and legal US residents. City of Hilliard staff, Public Arts Commission members and their families are not eligible. Experience with large-scale three-dimensional public art is weighed.
