The Anderson Center's Jerome Foundation–supported fellowship gives five emerging artists from Minnesota and New York City a paid month of uninterrupted work in rural Red Wing, Minnesota. Finalists have phone interviews in late February; critiques and formal professional development are not part of the program.

A four-week residency-fellowship, 2–29 September 2027, for a cohort of five: a $625/week artist stipend, a travel honorarium ($550 for New Yorkers, $150 for Minnesotans), a $450 documentation budget, lodging and studio space, groceries and weeknight chef-prepared dinners. Supported by the Jerome Foundation.

For early-career generative artists of any discipline with 2–10 years of experience creating their own new work, who are legal residents of Minnesota or one of the five boroughs of New York City for at least one year, with a US Social Security Number or Tax ID. No students: anyone enrolled in a degree-granting program from application through the residency is ineligible. Artists who only perform or produce the work of others are not eligible. Age is not a factor.
