A permanent commission of $136,000 (design fee, engineering, insurance, fabrication and installation included) for a sculptural work in durable outdoor materials at one of two corners of La Raza Park, a historic landmark and a centre of Denver's Chicano civil rights movement. Three to five finalists are paid an honorarium to develop site-specific proposals and are interviewed; the artwork joins the Denver Public Art collection, with installation planned for December 2027.

Open to artists and artist teams residing in the United States; teams submit one résumé with up to one page per member. Artists who have not yet received a public art commission are encouraged to apply, and artists from Denver with strong ties to the Northside are strongly encouraged. Finalists must attend a community meeting and a technical meeting.
