Up to CA$10,000 for a New Brunswick professional artist to take part in a residency at an organization in New Brunswick or anywhere else, or — under an artsnb–CALQ agreement — a one-to-three-month residency with an organization in Québec. Residencies may be for creating or developing new or in-progress work, mentorship or new skills, broadening networks and audiences, or community engagement. Eligible expenses include subsistence or artist fees (artsnb recommends up to CA$2,500 per month), materials and services, space and equipment rental, recording and production, and transportation, travel and accommodation related to the residency.

Professional artists (artsnb definition) who are Canadian citizens, affiliated with a First Nation on Turtle Island, permanent residents of Canada or have a permanent residence application in process, and who have resided in New Brunswick for at least one year (12 months) before the deadline; all overdue final reports must be submitted.
