Creation Grants help professional New Brunswick artists research, develop and carry out original projects in the arts, allowing them to devote some or most of their time to research and creative production: CA$20,000 for artists with more than five years of professional activity and CA$12,000 for early-career artists. One application per deadline and one Creation grant per fiscal year.

Professional artists (artsnb definition) who are Canadian citizens, affiliated with a First Nation on Turtle Island, permanent residents or with a permanent-residence application in process, and who have resided in New Brunswick for at least one year before the deadline.
