The New Brunswick Arts Board (artsnb / Conseil des arts du Nouveau-Brunswick) is the province’s arm’s-length arts funding agency; its programmes are bilingual (English and French) and assessed by peer juries.

Scholarships of up to CA$2,500 recognising New Brunswick students with exceptional artistic talent and potential who are pursuing a career in the arts, for full-time, part-time or short-term studies — for a term starting after the application or currently under way. One scholarship per fiscal year and up to four in a lifetime.

Students who do not yet qualify as professional artists (artsnb definition), who are Canadian citizens, affiliated with a First Nation on Turtle Island, permanent residents or with a permanent-residence application in process, and who have resided in New Brunswick for at least one year before the deadline; New Brunswick residents studying temporarily outside the province are eligible, people who came to New Brunswick only to study are not.
