A4 Residency, Chengdu — 2028 International Residencies: Studio, Housing, Travel and RMB 10,000 Production Budget
A4 Residency Art Center, part of A4 Art Museum in Chengdu, has hosted 335 creators from over 44 countries and regions since 2011. Its international programme places artists, curators and designers in the city and its communities, with a local 'super agent' resident paired with each creator.

Type A, international residency (at least eight weeks): studio and accommodation, economy return flight or second-class train ticket within a set limit, RMB 10,000 for materials and production per project, links with the local community, brands and cultural institutions, promotion, events and a chance to present the results (public artwork, exhibition, performance, publication). Type B, light residency (flexible, up to eight weeks): studio and accommodation, use of the event spaces and network; travel and production at the resident's own cost.
