A three-week residency in October and November 2027 at BUDA's facilities with artistic support, finishing a new production and premiering it at NEXT Festival. The partners cover travel, visa costs and per diems for the artist and up to three collaborators, a contribution to production costs and the presentation fee, for an overall amount of €10,000, all included. If visas are refused the project is compensated.

Performing artists from the Arab world who have developed and presented previous works, are working on a new and original project in contemporary forms of performance (classical theatre, community theatre and ballet are not eligible; concerts are not eligible), and whose project is in its final development phase by September 2027 with confirmed co-producers or a financing plan. Unsuccessful applicants of previous editions may re-apply. One artist is selected, working with up to three collaborators.
