Preziosa Young 2027 — Free International Contest and Touring Exhibition for Jewellery Artists Under 35 (Florence)

Preziosa Young, launched in 2008, is the contest and exhibition of Florence Jewellery Week's Preziosa programme, organised by Le Arti Orafe (LAO), a jewellery school in Florence since 1985. Past selected artists have gone on to gallery representation and international exhibitions.

An international jury of curators, artists and critics selects a limited number of young artists for the Preziosa Young exhibition, which opens in Florence in spring 2027 and then travels to other cities and galleries, with an online catalogue (and limited printed copies). Special prizes: a one-week residency at Le Arti Orafe in Florence with access to the school's workshops (LAO prize), a free exhibition space at the next Inhorgenta fair, and further partner prizes. Insurance during the exhibitions is covered; selected artists agree to sell one exhibited piece to the organiser for its permanent Preziosa Young collection at a mutually agreed price.

Artists, goldsmiths, silversmiths and designers from anywhere in the world, under 35: young professionals with an established practice and a demonstrable CV. The 2027 call PDF sets the cut-off as born after December 31, 1991 (the web page still says 1989). Current students and recent graduates are not eligible. Any material and technique, handmade, machine-made or 3D-produced.
