Open to individuals formally residing in Japan, the 10 ASEAN member countries (Indonesia, Cambodia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Brunei, Vietnam, Malaysia, Myanmar, Laos), or Timor-Leste. Applicants must be in excellent physical and mental health and highly proficient in either Japanese or English. The fellowship explicitly targets human resources in visual arts, literature, and culture who intend to cultivate transnational collaborative projects.
