publicSeo.openCall.benefits
A grant for one to three years of full-time artistic work (only a few two- or three-year grants are awarded); no budget is required. The grant period must start within 12 months of the decision in mid-March.
publicSeo.openCall.eligibility
Professional artists aged 18–68, as well as craftspeople, cultural journalists and critics, with a connection to Swedish-speaking Finland, for full-time artistic work. The work plan is the core of the application; studies are not funded (short supporting courses and residencies are allowed). A working grant cannot be combined with a full-year working grant from another funder for the same period; you can apply for both a working grant and a project grant from Kulturfonden but receive only one. Mandatory: work samples, CV and one or two recommendations (by mid-December).
