Freelance artists with their primary residence or production base in Lower Saxony whose artistic training is complete at the time of application; one of the three fellowships is for applicants who finished their higher-education training between 1 January 2025 and 31 December 2026. No fellowship is granted to anyone who receives regular third-party payments (stay or work fellowships) or state funding during 2027, to be stated in the application.
