Cork City Council’s Arts Office runs annual arts funding schemes for artists and organisations in the city, assessed by an independent peer panel with one elected council member, in line with its Arts and Cultural Strategy.

Support for community, socially engaged, collaborative, youth or participatory arts in one phase per year: Research & Development up to €2,000 (time to research methods and build a relationship with a community) or Project Realisation up to €10,000 (artist and community co-create a joint project; 30% match funding required). Access costs up to 20% of the award can be added.

Professional artists (individually or several with the same group; arts organisations only as partners) working with specified community groups located within the Cork City Council administrative area — communities of place or interest, schools, health and social care settings, youth clubs, prisons and similar; work in 2027, not-for-profit.
