Fumetto, the international comic festival in Lucerne, runs a long-standing comic competition each year. The 2027 theme is the onomatopoeia «Blubb» — schools of fish, bubbles of air or real estate, deep-sea dives, melting glaciers — and the shortlist is exhibited in the historic Swiss House of the Glacier Garden.

Fumetto shortlists 45 works, shown as originals at the Fumetto Comic Festival Lucerne (6–14 March 2027) in the Glacier Garden; all other entries appear digitally in the exhibition. In the adult category the jury awards CHF 1,111, CHF 888 and CHF 666, plus a CHF 444 prize for the best scenario from the shortlist; the younger categories receive prizes in kind, and festival visitors vote a public prize. Awards on 6 March 2027. Originals are returned after the festival.
