The programme
- About the programme
- This highly targeted fellowship addresses systemic economic vulnerability by supporting the notoriously difficult, often career-ending transition period immediately following academic graduation.
- What the call offered
- Guaranteed monthly income for one full year, providing absolute, unbroken financial stability during the notoriously difficult, often career-ending transition period immediately following academic graduation. This allows textile arts graduates to experiment, fail, and eventually refine their post-academic visual language into a mature professional practice.
- Who could apply
- Open to Austrian nationals born between 1991 and 2008, who are graduates of public Austrian art universities.
- Ceremony
- 21 September 2026, Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien
- Prize
- EUR 24,000 twelve-month grant each
- Stipend
- EUR 2,000 per month for 12 months (EUR 24,000 per person), six graduates per year
