The programme
- About the programme
- Serves as the uncompromising, arthouse counterweight to the more commercial TIFF. It is deeply revered by purists for its dedication to boundary-pushing, experimental Asian cinema.
- What the call offered
- Critical validation from elite arthouse programmers, intensive Q&A integrations, and elevated prestige within the Japanese independent market.
- Who could apply
- Restricted to emerging Asian directors. Films must exceed 60 minutes, be completed after April 1, 2025, and guarantee a Japan Premiere.
