The programme
- About the programme
- This highly unusual curatorial project juxtaposes cutting-edge contemporary painting with the ethereal architecture of England's first Gothic cathedral.
- What the call offered
- Residencies in France, professional mentoring sessions, and the opportunity to sell work (45% commission) to an audience of 18,000 monthly visitors. Paintings will be displayed in a specially built, white-walled gallery in the cathedral's cloisters.
- Who could apply
- Open to artists aged 18 and over from around the world. All genres, styles, and media are welcome. Fine art students receive a discount on their application fee.
