For four months at Off the Grid: an artist fee of €1,100 per month, a transport allowance of €120 per month and a one-off production budget of €600, in total €5,480 incl. VAT, plus access to the shared residency programme and studio environment, mentorship with KU Leuven and LUCA School of Arts researchers, and a public contribution to the group exhibition programme at Kunsthal Mechelen (4 June to 29 August 2027). The resident joins the second jury phase of the artists' call on 18 November. No accommodation is provided.

Belgium-based emerging curators, writers, critics, art historians, researchers and research-based practitioners working in relation to contemporary art and adjacent fields; early stage of professional practice, limited access to institutional opportunities, interest in working closely with artists and artistic processes. Emerging is understood through the stage and context of a professional trajectory, not age.
